At the age of 46 I asked my father, Bill Murphy, to tell me something about my grandfather, who died 13 years before I was born.  My father's response is found on the next page.   In that one short paragraph Dad told me more about my paternal grandfather than I had learned in 46 years, except for this: the strength of character I saw in Arthur's children had given strong testimony to the love of a father.   -Mike Murphy

Arthur and Ethel Murphy live on in each of us.  The purpose of this web site will be to link as many of us as care to be linked to what ever degree each wishes to be joined to the tree. If there is a need in the family, somone may be able to meet it.   If there is a hurt, someone else may be able to comfort it.   If there is a joy we can all share it. This site will serve as the Arthur G. Murphy address book and reunion center.

My hope is that each descendant of Arthur and Ethel Murphy will contribute a story of some background facts, a memory or a dream so that we can grow together instead of apart.

May all of this be for God's glory that He might say of us: See how they love one another.
